For the past week we've been framing up the walls and I should have pictures of that to post soon. But even at this beginning stage, the tiny house has had several visitors and they've had a few questions which I thought I'd share with you here.
How many square feet? About 160. (Just as a visual reference point, you could fit the trailer the house is on into a space designed for parallel parking.)

Will you have a loft bedroom? Sort of. I'm planning a small loft over the bathroom, and a couple other possible guest sleeping arrangements, but the main bed is downstairs. It will be raised up enough to provide significant storage underneath, but not so much that I will need a ladder to climb in and out of bed.
What kind of toilet? High efficiency water flush, with the refill water routed through a hand sink before it fills the tank. (Yes, as cute and efficient as my toilet promises to be, the pollution and waste of such precious resources does still annoy me....)
Will you have a kitchen? Yes. But the appliances will be on the small side.
Your walls look tall. Are you still going to be able to go under bridges and stuff? Yes the walls are tall. We were able to do that because the curved roof doesn't add as much height as a gabled roof would, so taken together we won't exceed the roadworthy limit of 13'6".
When will you be able to live in it? Hopefully by this fall.
I think that's about it. If you have any other questions you'd like me to answer, let me know!
